Crossing the Antarctic Circle

As chinstrap penguin eggs begin hatching in the Peninsula toward the end of the month, the colonies are in a flurry with activity. Meanwhile, leopard seals patrol ice floes and penguin colonies on the hunt for prey. Agile minke whales may be spotted near the ice edge around the Peninsula. It’s a magnificent display of nature that will make this a holiday adventure of crossing the Antarctic circle, one to remember.
